Tulos: Candle Lighting and
Prayer Offering
"For you are my lamp, O Lord; And the Lord illumines my darkness." 2 Samuel 22:29
Lighting of candles is popular devotions to Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag. Pilgrims, in particular, see to it that they light a candle and offer a prayer before returning home. To a Christian and a devotee of Apo Baket, candles are lit “not just to dispel night’s gloom but also to represent Christ, the Uncreated and Eternal Light”
(2nd Century Academic Scholar).

"Tulos" provides an opportunity for devotees of Apo Baket to light a candle and offer a prayer even if they are unable to visit Her in person. In their stead, we will light a candle at the Candle Gallery. A Candle lighting schedule is provided so that devotees may join the Prayer for Lighting Candles.
